PORT ALLEGANY — S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library invites local children to “Build a Better World” this summer through its summer story hour and Summer Reading Club programs.
Summer story hour is for children from age birth to pre-K and their adults. Registration starts May 22 and ends June 10.
The program will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays from June 21-July 26 at the library. An adult must complete the necessary paperwork for each child by June 10. Story hour library books must be checked out on an adult patron’s library account.
The school-age Summer Reading Club is for students in kindergarten to sixth grade. Registration starts May 22 and ends June 10.
