COUDERSPORT — Landowners are urged to protect their property from the outbreak of Japanese Knotweed, an invasive plant that is threatening the Mill Creek basin above Coudersport.
A public meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on May 17 at the Sweden Valley Grange to provide information on effective control measures, help available and landowner support, followed by a question and answer session.
The meeting is being sponsored by the Upper Allegheny Watershed Association, God’s Country Chapter Trout Unlimited, and the First Fork Watershed Association, pursuant to a grant from the Coldwater Heritage Partnership.
