The United Way of the Bradford Area has awarded funding from the second quarter of
Community Impact requests.
“We are pleased to provide funding to these organizations at 100 percent of their requested amounts,” said UWBA Board Secretary Jodie Wagner. “We were able to fund six local entities for various programs and services that impact all ages in our community, and we’re looking forward to the continued collaboration in our area.”
Recipients include: Bradford Area Public Library – “Middle Ground” middle school book club; Bradford YMCA – Kids Fest; Bradford Regional Little League – safety equipment; Bradford Ecumenical Home Inc.– Chapel Ridge’s annual senior health and wellness fair; Dickinson Center Inc. – celebrations and field trips for participants; McKean County Habitat for Humanity – new home build.
