A Bradford man is incarcerated after he allegedly exposed himself to three minor teens on Easter.
Codi Lee Michael Veite, 18, was arraigned Sunday night before District Judge Richard Luther on charges of unlawful contact with a minor, sexual offenses, a third-degree felony; indecent exposure, a first-degree misdemeanor; and open lewdness, a third-degree misdemeanor, court records stated.
According to court records, Bradford City Police responded at 6:42 p.m. on Sunday to a report of indecent exposure on Pearl Street. Veite allegedly showed his genitals to a 13-year-old, 15-year-old and 17-year-old who were outside in front of a house. He allegedly made several comments referencing sexual intercourse to the teens, and told the teens he could be a “porn star.”
He was committed to McKean County Jail in lieu of $27,500 bail, and a Central Court date is set for Thursday.
Meanwhile, about one month ago in March, allegations in a separate sexual assault case against Veite were dropped by the District Attorney’s Office. Veite was accused in 2016 of an assault against a 14-year-old girl, and he had asked for a trial. The Commonwealth announced its intention not to prosecute the case before it went to trial, and the case is now closed and Veite is no longer facing the allegations.
