CARE for Children is hosting an Early Learning program at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Hamlin Memorial Library during story hour.

The program, “Early Learning Fun and Sign Language for Kids,” is geared for children ages one to five.

Parents and children will learn simple signs that follow along with the book From Head to Toe, by Eric Carle. Children will also participate in gross motor and fine motor activities. Each family attending will receive a copy of the book and other helpful materials.

The program is free and open to parents and children. It is funded in part by a Community Impact grant from the Smethport Campaign for United Way.
