OLEAN, N.Y. — The Olean Kennel Club is offering dog obedience classes starting April 17, at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Mount Jewett, Pa.

Classes are for dogs that have had no obedience training. Classes will be held on Mondays from 7 to 8 p.m. for six weeks.

All Olean Kennel Club classes are open to mixed breeds as well as pedigree dogs. Classes are taught by instructors who use positive training methods. Dogs must be at least four months old and have current shot records. Class size is limited and fills quickly. There is a fee.
