Bradford Regional Medical Center will present “What Everyone Should Know About Sexual Assault” on Wednesday at the Bradford Club, 32 Boylston St., Bradford.
The program will shine a light on the problem of sexual assault in the community and address how victims are offered assistance to help them deal with the initial impact and after effects.
It will be presented by Cheryl Wier, RN, SANE-A, SANE-P, sexual assault nurse examiner program coordinator, BRMC; Heather E. Schultz-Piche, program director, Victims’ Resource Center, YWCA Bradford; Shelley Alcorn, sexual assault counselor/advocate, Victims’ Resource Center, YWCA Bradford; and Tonia R. Hartzell, family advocate/case manager, Children’s Advocacy Center of McKean County.
The presentation is part of BRMC’s ongoing Community Breakfast Series.
