SMETHPORT — A Bradford man accused of threatening schoolchildren was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court to a state prison term.
Johnathon J. Johnson, 29, will serve six months to two years in prison for charges of terroristic threats and simple assault.
Johnson pleaded guilty March 9 to allegations that on Sept. 20, in Bradford, he attempted to scare several juveniles on a school bus by threatening them with violence.
Also in court, Stacy A. Yeager, 37, of Port Allegany, pleaded guilty to charges of theft by unlawful taking and access device fraud. According to Assistant District Attorney Sean Barrett, between Dec. 16 and 26, Yeager stole a check for $525 and made $1,497.29 in charges to someone else’s Discover card. He will be sentenced April 27.
Tina M. Connolly, 54, of Eldred, will serve five years in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and summary charges.
Harley B. Sellers, 39, of Bradford, will serve nine to 23 ½ months of incarceration with credit for 192 days of time served and one year of probation for a charge of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance. He pleaded guilty March 9 to allegations that on Sept. 26 he delivered four Adderall pills and one Suboxone strip.
Damon L. Maull, 32, of Malone, N.Y., will serve 86 days to one year in McKean County Jail with credit for 86 days of time served for a charge of flight to avoid apprehension. On Feb. 28, 2016, Maull ran from police after he was taken into custody, officials said.
Gary L. Tarbox Jr., 34, of Port Allegany, will serve 30 days to six months with credit for 64 days of time served and one year of probation for charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and a summary charge. He pleaded guilty March 9 to allegations that on Jan. 26, he struggled with an officer who approached him because he was intoxicated and sleeping on the floor of a laundromat in Port Allegany. At the police station, he kicked a printer, breaking it.
Amanda S. Harris, 24, of Bradford, will serve 18 months of probation for charges in two cases. She charged in one case with criminal trespassing and theft by unlawful taking and in the second with retail theft.
Richard C. Keltz, 55, of Kane, will serve two years in the Intermediate Punishment Program for a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and a summary charge.
Logan P. Plant, 21, of Austin, will serve one year of probation and pay $8,807.50 in restitution for a charge of simple assault.
Leona L. Mott, 57, of Bradford, will serve one year of probation for a charge of theft by unlawful taking.
Eric M. Majot, 31, of Port Allegany, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and summary charges.
Jeffery A. Buterbaugh, 42, of Lewis Run, Donald L. Fry, 47, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and Kenneth W. Poczkalski, 55, of Buffalo, N.Y.,will each serve six months of probation for a charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and summary charges.
Theodore Vancise, 18, of Eldred, will pay a $50 fine for a summary charge of harassment.
