JOHNSONBURG — Work to replace a Route 219 (Ridgway-Johnsonburg Road) bridge that crosses Powers Run at the south end of Johnsonburg is scheduled the week of April 10.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said construction is expected to be complete in September. During this time, drivers will utilize a temporary roadway around the bridge.
This bridge, one of 558 bridges being replaced under the state’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, will be replaced in a joint-venture partnership between Walsh/Granite, which is leading construction for the entire project, and PennDOT.
