A Bradford woman was hit by a vehicle Tuesday evening at the Tops Market parking lot in Bradford.
Bradford City Police reported that at 5:40 p.m. a vehicle operated by David Hushon, 40, of Limestone, N.Y., was traveling west through the parking lot near the front entrance of the market and stopped to let pedestrians cross. Police say that he thought all of the pedestrians were passed when the vehicle struck Joyce Sasso, 84, of Bradford.
She was treated on scene for a head injury by the Bradford City Ambulance and later taken to the Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Charges are pending, police say.
