PORT ALLEGANY — Construction for a Route 155 (Port Emporium Road) bridge in McKean County is scheduled to begin the week of April 3 as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
The bridge spans Allegheny Portage Creek in Liberty Township, near the Potter County line. Replacement of this bridge will allow PennDOT to remove it from McKean County’s structurally deficient bridge list.
Construction is expected to be complete in late August. During this time, an alternating traffic pattern will be controlled by temporary traffic signals.
In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen activities, this schedule may change, PennDOT said.
