The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will offer a Violent Workplace Emergencies class 8 to 11 a.m. April 7 in Room 200 of Marilyn Horne Hall at 2 Marilyn Horne Way.
The class will focus on active shooters at the workplace, with participants learning how to prevent, prepare for and react to violent emergencies.
Instructors will discuss steps to identify and mitigate risk, action planning, policy review and incident response protocol along with additional table-top exercises. There is a fee of $45.
