SALAMANCA — A lineup of music legends will make their way to Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino, with newly announced shows including The Breezin’ & Breathless Tour with George Benson and Kenny G at 7 p.m. June 3 and Boz Scaggs at 7 p.m. June 23.
Then, the hills of Salamanca will rock when the legendary Hank Williams Jr. performs a special outdoor concert at 7 p.m. July 1.
Tickets for all shows go on sale at noon Friday.
George Benson is a 10-time Grammy winner who helped “redefined the world of jazz” by garnering the first platinum jazz album, “Breezin’,” which hit No. 1 on the Billboard album chart in 1976. The album produced “This Masquerade,” which won Record of the Year honors at the Grammy Awards. His other hits include “On Broadway,” “Give Me the Night,” and God Bless the Child.”
Kenny G is one of the most iconic and best-selling instrumental musicians of all time. His signature album, “Breathless,” is the best-selling instrumental album ever. Among his memorable songs are “Songbird,” “Don’t Make Me Wait for Love,” “Theme for Dying Young,” “By the Time This Night is Over” and many others.
Since his start with the Steve Miller Band, Scaggs has been recognized as one of America’s most talented musicians. His hit songs include “Lowdown,” “Lido Shuffle,” What Can I Say” and “Look What You’ve Done to Me,” and his album “Silk Degrees” is an all-time classic.
With a name synonymous with country music, Williams Jr. is one of the best-selling artists in country history, thanks to his blend of country, Southern rock and blues. His litany of hit songs include “Family Tradition,” “Born to Boogie,” “My Name is Bocephus,” “A Country Boy Can Survive” and “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight.”
In addition, tickets are still available for upcoming shows inside the Seneca Allegany Events Center.
Tony Orlando will appear at 7 p.m. April 8; Steve Winwood performs at 7 p.m. April 29; Seneca Fight Night: King of the Cageis at 7 p.m. May 6; and Paul Anka will perform at 5 p.m. May 14.
