EMPORIUM — The annual Spring Ladies’ Conference will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on March 18 at the Emporium Christian and Missionary Alliance Church on Sizerville Road (Route 155). All area women are invited.
While women of every age will enjoy the conference, this year’s spring event is highlighting the rich and beautiful faith which is produced from decades and decades of seeking and knowing God. All elements of the morning will be designed with an appreciation for older women, including the teaching and the music. A memorable, and potentially favorite, aspect of the morning will be a video collage of several area women speaking about their long love relationship with the Lord. The ages of these women range between 75 and 102 years.
Refreshments and luncheon will be provided and there is no cost for the conference. Any donation, however, will be gratefully received and will be sent directly to people in Haiti for food, school, clean water, medical care, and small business start-up costs. Gifts for Haiti to be tax deductible can be made by check to the Emporium CMA Church.
