Charges withdrawn in alleged rape case

JOHNSONBURG — Rape charges against a DuBois man were withdrawn Wednesday during a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge James Martin.

Stanley Thomas Sarnoski, 58, DuBois, had been charged by the Ridgway-based state police with assault and harassment. Charges of rape with forcible compulsion and indecent sexual assault were withdrawn.
