School districts throughout the region celebrated Read Across America in honor of the birthday of beloved author Dr. Seuss.
Thursday marked the 20th anniversary of National Education Association’s annual event, which is the nation’s largest reading celebration. More than 45 million students, parents, educators and other participate every year.
