A Bradford man was arraigned Friday before District Judge Richard Luther on burglary allegations.
David Doyle Mihalko, 36, of 345 Jackson Ave., is charged with burglary, a first-degree felony; and theft by unlawful taking, a first-degree misdemeanor, court records stated.
According to court records, between Sept. 3 and Oct. 7 in 2015, Mihalko was doing work on the the exterior of a Bradford Township home, when he went inside the home and took items. Mihalko did not have the authority to enter the home.
Mihalko allegedly took a small box from the bedroom containing items such as collector coins and a Bradford High class ring, and sold the ring to a local jeweler.
He was committed to McKean County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail, and he is scheduled to appear in Central Court on March 9.
Meanwhile, Mihalko has three other pending criminal cases.
He pleaded guilty Feb. 2 to charges in all three and appeared Thursday in McKean County Court to be sentenced, but the plea was rejected.
Discussion in court indicated that Mihalko did not want to pay to have a drug and alcohol evaluation completed. However, one of the charges Mihalko pleaded guilty to was a charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, and President Judge John Pavlock by law can’t sentence Mihalko until he has the evaluation completed.
Pavlock rejected the plea.
