Four pairs of teammates have accepted invitations to play in the Big 30 Charities Classic.
Mitchell Vleminckx and Kyle Kirk of Bradford Area High School and Aaron Wolfinger and Corey Thompson of Coudersport Area High School have been added to the Pennsylvania roster.
Added to the New York roster were Darius Williams and Nate Bradley of Olean High School and Jake Beaver and Dylan Williams of Randolph High School.
Vleminckx, 5’9”, 152 pounds played wide receiver/cornerback for the Owls.
He plans on attending Slippery Rock University to continue his track and field career, and plans to major in exercise science with a minor in psychology.
Vleminckx is a four-year letterwinner in football and track.
He was also named the winner of the James Manners District 9 MVP award.
He is honored to be chosen and remembers when his brother also played in the game.
Vleminckx’s most memorable moment playing football was catching the pass from Kyle Kirk to put him over 1,000 yards.
His hobbies include football, track and field and skiing.
His favorite football team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite player is Antonio Brown.
Kirk, 5’3”, 145 pounds, played quarterback for the Owls.
He plans to attend Slippery Rock University and major in finance.
He was a three-year letterwinner in football and a four-year letterwinner in baseball.
Scholastically, he is a member of the National Honor Society.
Kirk has always wanted to play in the Big 30 game and become part of the game’s history.
His most memorable moment playing football was having Mitchell Vleminckx catch his 1,000- yard ball.
Kirk’s hobbies include camping and riding ATVs.
His favorite football team is the Indianapolis Colts and his favorite player is Peyton Manning.
Wolfinger, 5’11”, 145 pounds, played quarterback/defensive back for the Falcons.
He plans on attending a four-year university and pursue a career in forestry.
He is a two-time Olean Times Herald Big 30 All-star, a three-time AML All-star, team MVP and a three-time team offensive player of the year.
Wolfinger is a member of the National Honor Society.
He is looking forward to playing with his friends one more time as well as getting the opportunity to meet some of the players he has played against for four years.
Wolfinger’s most memorable moment playing football was an interception as a freshman to ice the game.
His hobbies include football, basketball and baseball.
Wolfinger’s favorite football team is the Penn State Nittany Lions and his favorite player is Saquon Barkley.
Thompson, 5’8”, 215 pounds, played offensive line/defensive line for the Falcons.
He plans on entering the military before pursuing a career as a state trooper.
Thompson was the recipient of the commitment award in football.
He is looking forward to playing in one last high school football game.
Thompson’s hobbies include hunting, fishing and lifting.
His most memorable moment playing football was being able to play with his team his senior year.
His favorite football team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite player is James Harrison.
Darius Williams, 6’0”, 238 pounds, played tackle/defensive end for the Huskies.
He plans to attend college and study engineering.
He is the recipient of the Kevin Whitehead Memorial Award.
Williams is looking forward to another chance to play football one last time.
His most memorable moment playing football was going undefeated in 8th grade.
Williams’ hobbies include football, track and field and playing video games.
His favorite football team is the Green Bay Packers.
Bradley, 6’4”, 230 pounds, played tackle/defensive end for the Huskies.
He is planning to attend the University of Albany for economics and would also like to walk on the football team.
Bradley was a member of the league championship team and the undefeated regular season team.
He is a first-team all-league Class B South selection and is a member of the Big 30 team.
Scholastically, Bradley received an excellence award in U.S. History.
His most memorable moment playing football was converting a two-point conversion in double overtime against Pioneer.
Bradley’s favorite football team is the New England Patriots and his favorite player is Trey Flowers.
Beaver, 5’11”, 160 pounds, played quarterback, running back, and cornerback for the Cardinals.
He plans on attending JCC for a year before transferring to Cornell and majoring in animal science.
Beaver’s athletic honors include Second-team All-state, Post-Journal Player of the Week, Connolly Cup Player of the Week and First-team All-league.
He wants to play in the Big 30 game for one more chance to play football.
Beaver’s most memorable moment playing football was an interception returned for a touchdown against Frewsburg.
His hobbies include playing sports, hunting, snowmobiling and dirt biking.
His favorite football team is the Denver Broncos and his favorite player is Von Miller.
Dylan Williams, 5’11”, 160 pounds, played running back, wide receiver, outside linebacker and defensive end for the Cardinals.
He plans on entering the military or attending college to study environmental conservation.
Williams is an honor roll student.
He is excited to play football one last time and leave it all on the field.
Williams’ most memorable moment playing football was bonding with the team.
His hobbies include fishing, hunting and working on his truck.
His favorite football team is the New England Patriots and his favorite player is Julian Edelman.
