AUSTIN — The Austin Methodist Church will hold its annual Fat Tuesday dinner from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday with a smorgasbord feast.

Organizers said dinner will include various meats, potatoes, casseroles, vegetables, desserts and beverage included. Dine-in or takeouts will be available.

This year all proceeds will be given to two families who have babies in Children’s

Hospital in Pittsburgh.

The Brandon and Shelby Shepard family has a little girl, born Jan. 11 and hospitalized since Jan. 15, with a medical problem and the Andy and Melissa Bothell family has a little boy, born Jan. 24 in DuBois NICU and went to Pittsburgh on Feb. 14, with surgery occurring Feb. 17. It is reported that both babies are improving.

The cost for the dinner is $7 adults; children ages 5-12 is $4. The dinner will be held in the

social room of the church located on Turner Street, across from the Austin Borough Office.
