KANE — The Kane Area Food Pantry monthly distribution will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at St. Callistus Roman Catholic Church in Kane.
The food pantry entrance is on the Haines Street side of the church, at the corner of Chase and Haines streets.
Persons who wish to receive food items are asked to come at the following times, according to the first letter of their last name. For February, the schedule is: noon to 1 p.m. S through Z; 1 to 2 p.m. A through E; 2 to 3 p.m. F through K; and 3 to 4 p.m. L through R.
Participants must come during their scheduled time, or after that time. Bring a box or other container to carry items home. Also, bring proof of identity, address and income if this is a first visit of the year, or if there are any changes since the participant’s last time at the food pantry.
