KANE — Kane-based state police investigated a natural death on Popular Street in Mount Jewett at 10:58 a.m. Saturday.
Police said upon arrival at a residence at 4 Poplar St., troopers entered to find William L. Oknefski, 57, of Mount Jewett, deceased on his bathroom floor. Police said Oknefski was discovered by a family friend who had come to help Oknefski clean his house.
Oknefski was pronounced dead at the time of the discovery, police said.
Police said the cause of death was due to natural causes.
