MOUNT JEWETT (EC) — The Mount Jewett Rotary Club is slated to host its sixth annual Chocolate Indulgence event at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Veterans Memorial Club.
Interested parties are welcome to buy tickets in advance from any Rotarian in the amount of $10 per ticket or buy tickets at the door on Saturday night.
Rotary president Erik A. Ross stated, “Each year, the Mount Jewett Rotary Club partners with one or more other local non-profits to help the other organizations with their financial needs. The Rotary Club keeps none of the proceeds raised by the event — the purpose of it is to serve others, and not ourselves.”
In addition to the Chocolate Indulgence event, Rotary also sells funnel cakes at events during the summer months, hosts a multiphasic blood testing event annually and sells baked goods.
