The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will offer a “Pound Rockout Workout” full-body exercise class Feb. 28-April 4.
Classes will take place from 5:15 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays in the fifth floor Ballroom of the Seneca Building.
Students will use Ripstix, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, that transforms drumming into an effective way of working out.
The full-body workout combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and Pilates-inspired movements.
During each 45-minute class, students will complete 15,000 reps and perform more than 30 extended interval peaks.
The $45 fee includes six sessions for all fitness levels. All equipment will be provided.
