DuBois 67, Bradford 47
DUBOIS — Nick Labrasca poured in a game-high 32 points to send DuBois High to a 67-47 District 9 League boys’ basketball win over Bradford on Tuesday night.
Alex Beers added 12 points and Kenny Garvey 10 for the Beavers, who swept the season series from the Owls.
“Offensive rebounding killed us,” BAHS coach Brian Hobbs said. “We gave them 69 shots, which is way too much.
“We didn’t have an answer for Labrasca. We didn’t have anyone who could match up with Labrasca inside. They took advantage of it.”
Steven Knowlton led the Owls (6-12) with 11 points.
“We were playing without Danny Manion,” Hobbs pointed out. “Garvey and Beers had a ton of offensive rebounds.”
Nate Higbie had five assists for the Owls, who host Brookville on Friday.

NON-LEAGUE
Coudersport 66, Clarion 44
CLARION — After overwhelming league opponents on an almost nightly basis, Coudersport took its show on the road to Clarion for a non-league matchup and came away with win No. 20.
Jared Green had a monster game for the Falcons (20-0), scoring 20 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Aaron Wolfinger (14), Owen Chambers (11) and Derek Keglovits (10 and nine rebounds) helped Coudersport top the Bobcats (12-6) in a game between top-tier Class AA teams.
“To get out of our area,” Coudersport head coach Brian Furman said, “and come down and play in a road game against a real good team will help us go toward the playoffs.”
The Falcons keyed on the backcourt play of Clarion and were able to keep a double-digit lead in the second half.
“Coming into this game, that’s really what our focus was on,” Furman said of his team’s defense. “They had strong guard play and we thought we needed to take care of business on the defensive end. I think as a team, we did a real good job of that.”
The Falcons return to action for a North Tier League tilt vs. Galeton today for Senior Night.
