Six more players have accepted invitations for the Big 30 Charities Classic.
Named to the Pennsylvania team are Nate Shroyer of Otto-Eldred, Derek Reider of Cameron County and Josh Raubenstrauch of Ridgway. Added to the New York team are Drew Stevens of Cattaraugus-Little Valley, Kameron Alexander of Gowanda and Joseph Jedrosko of Olean.
Shroyer, 5’9”, 170 pounds, played left guard/defensive end for the Terrors.
He hopes to enter the military after graduation.
He is looking forward to playing in the Classic as he will be the third member of his family to play in the annual event.
Shroyer’s most memorable moment playing football was winning the AML North Title.
His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and weight lifting.
His favorite NFL team is the New England Patriots and his favorite player is Julian Edelman.
Reider, 6’3”, 240 pounds, was a tight end/defensive end for Cameron County.
He is an honor student.
He is a member of FBLA and an AML all-star.
Reider looks forward to playing in one more game and representing his community and team.
His hobbies include basketball, baseball, lifting, and hanging out with friends.
His most memorable moment was playing in the AML championship game his sophomore season.
His favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite player is James Harrison.
Raubenstrauch, 6’, 170 pounds, was a wide receiver/defensive back for the Elkers.
He plans to take over his dad’s business after graduation.
His most memorable moment playing football was winning the D-9 Championship his senior year.
Raubenstrauch’s hobbies include listening to music, working out, and hanging out with friends.
He was also selected as a Tri-County 1st team division all-star.
In baseball, he was a three-time south small school division all-star.
His favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite player is Le’veon Bell.
Stevens, 5’, 190 pounds, played running back/safety for the Timberwolves.
He plans to enter the Marines on the delayed entry program after graduation, and later pursue a career in law enforcement.
Stevens also received many participation awards while at Cattaraugus-Little Valley.
He is looking forward to playing in the Classic because his dad is a Pennsylvania native.
His hobbies include hiking, sewing, reading, larping, and crocheting.
His favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite player is Sean Taylor.
Alexander, 6’2”, 190 pounds, was a running back/linebacker for the Panthers.
After graduation, he wants to work in the criminal justice system or as a security guard.
He was named the WNY Class c offensive player of the year, as well as team MVP.
Alexander was part of the merit roll at Gowanda High School.
His hobbies include working out and spending time with family and friends.
His most memorable moment playing football was having a record breaking senior season with his friends that he had been playing with since third grade.
Alexander’s favorite NFL team is the Detroit Lions and his favorite player is Adrian Peterson.
Jedrosko, 5’11”, 183 pounds, was a wide receiver/cornerback for Olean.
He plans to enter college and major in criminal justice.
He was the recipient of the Francis “Hookey” Frey award and is a member of the 41-42 Club.
Jedrosko is looking forward to playing in one more football game.
His most memorable moment playing football was becoming league champions.
His hobbies include playing sports.
His favorite football team is the Seattle Seahawks and his favorite player is Cam Chancellor.
