PORT ALLEGANY — Spring Story Hour and the Construction Club will meet weekly at the S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library in Port Allegany.
The Construction Club, which began meeting on Jan. 17, will gather from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Feb. 28.
Children and their adults are invited to come build with all of the library’s new block party kits, which include Legos, wooden blocks, Lincoln Logs, Magna-Tiles, vehicles and road signs, multi-cultural community people and animals from the ocean, woodlands, jungle, farm and prehistoric time.
Meanwhile, starting Feb. 8, Spring Story Hour will meet from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays through April 12 for children birth to 5-years-old and their adults. An adult must complete registration paperwork for each child by Tuesday in order to participate. Story Hour library books must be checked out on an adult patron’s library account.
