A Coudersport woman was arraigned Friday before District Judge Richard Luther on allegations she threatened three people with a gun.
Danyell Kathryn Mitchell, 18, of 208 W. Beech St., is charged with three counts each of terroristic threats, all first-degree misdemeanors; simple assault and recklessly endangering another person, all second-degree misdemeanors; and harassment, third-degree misdemeanors, court records stated.
According to court records, on Thursday, Mitchell was arguing with her then-boyfriend, James Logue, at 240 North Brooklynside Road, Liberty Township, and he asked her to pack her things and leave. She told him to go downstairs, and when he did, she allegedly started smashing items in his room.
Court records indicate Logue went back upstairs, followed by his mother and sister, Mindy and Chelsea Logue. When they entered the room, Mitchell allegedly threatened to hurt herself and the others with a .243 caliber rifle she took from a gun rack in the room.
Mindy Logue got into an altercation with Mitchell, and she dropped the gun. Mitchell was restrained briefly, then released, and she left the home, according to court records.
Mitchell was committed to McKean County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, and she is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
