PORTVILLE, N.Y. — Pfeiffer Nature Center in Portville is inviting residents to explore how visual art and conservation can benefit one another in a talk by Federal Duck Stamp artist Jennifer Miller.
The one-hour event will be held at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 4 at the Portville Free Library, 1 N. Main St., Portville.
Miller will describe her experiences with the Federal Duck Stamp and share her passion for reaching out with her work to inspire the public to care about the natural world. Attendees will learn how a love of nature can blossom into a passion and an unusual, adventurous and rewarding career.
The event is free for Pfeiffer Nature Center members and for children ages 13 and under or $5 for non-members over 13-years-old.
