Marcia K. Stewart has been promoted to vice president of land management at Minard Run Oil Co., according to an announcement by Meredith M. Fesenmyer, president.
Stewart’s appointment is effective Feb. 1.
She is a graduate of Mercyhurst University and joined Minard Run in 2006 as a land agent. In 2011, she advanced to the position of lease/land administrator. Stewart has attended continuing education courses in land, legal and business training and was promoted to the position of land manager in 2014 after earning her certification as a registered professional landman.
Stewart is an active member of the Independent Oil & Gas Association of New York, the Northern Appalachian Landman’s Association, the American Association of Professional Landmen and the Pennsylvania Independent Petroleum Producers.
She is an advisory committee member for the Seneca Highlands Career and Technical Center and is also a notary public and a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries.
