Round eight in the 26th annual Bradford Businessmen’s Chess League competition at School Street Elementary School continued in a tie between Prestige: Awards & Jewelry and Main Street Mercantile for the first place team in the varsity division by half a point over the Pharmacy at Union Square.
In the junior varsity division, the Dr. Gonzalez team has maintained its five-point lead. Lang Surveying continued in second, and Dexter’s Service Center holds third.
Other varsity team rankings are Hamlin Bank, third place; Main Street Movie House, fourth place; E&M Engineers & Surveyors, fifth place; and Burns & Burns, sixth place.
Junior varsity team rankings are Wood Chiropractic fourth place; Tasta Pizza and Williams Agency, tied for fifth place; Dr. Rhinehart, sixth place; Bradford Health Center, seventh place; Hennard Construction, eighth place; and Prestige: Trophies & Engraving, ninth place.
