FOR VETERANS: There is an event this evening in Mount Jewett geared at addressing questions and concerns of local veterans.

“Veterans and their families are invited to a free one-stop shop to learn about VA service and community resources available,” the Erie VA Medical Center stated.
A number of agencies and individuals will be on hand to answer questions and give updates on programs. These include the McKean VA Clinic, an Erie VA dietician, Erie VA eligibility and enrollment reps, Erie VAMC Behavioral Health Clinic staff, Veterans Benefits Administration reps, Erie Mobile Vet Center, county and community veteran services officers, CareerLink reps and more.
According to the Erie VA Medical Center, there are many myths that people have about what services they qualify for, and veterans may be eligible for more than they realize.

SEEDS: We’re already starting to get seed catalogues in the mail.
Is everyone thinking about what they want to plant this year? It’s a little early, but we enjoy imagining warm weather.
It has been somewhat springlike these past couple of days, but it’s definitely not the weather we are daydreaming about.
