KANE — No injuries were reported in a fire that damaged a Garlock Hollow Road home Thursday afternoon in Foster Township.
Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal Cpl. Greg Agosti said between 3:30 and 4 p.m. Thursday, a fire broke out in the basement at 56 Garlock Hollow Road, owned by Jessica L. Defilippo, 37, of Bradford. The tenant was Eric P. Danowski, 31, of Bradford.
Agosti said vapors from a gasoline can were ignited by heat from a hot water heater.
“The fire burned itself out after causing approximately $20,000 in damage,” Agosti said.
