SMETHPORT — A Bradford woman was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court to a term in state prison for charges stemming from two drug delivery cases.
Rachel S. Anderson, 21, will serve 16 to 32 months in state prison for charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance in two new cases; meanwhile, she will serve an additional one to three years of incarceration for a probation revocation in a previous drug delivery case. She has credit for 174 days of time served. In the new cases, Anderson pleaded guilty Dec. 15, 2016, to allegations she possessed with the intent to deliver fentanyl on two occasions.
Also in court, Charles M. Johnson Jr., 19, of Bradford, will serve four to 23 ½ months in state prison and pay restitution of $8,807.50 to the victim for a new charge of simple assault; additionally, he will serve another four to 11 ½ months in state prison for a parole revocation hearing in a previous simple assault case. He had credit for 153 days of time served. According to Assistant District Attorney Sean Barrett, on June 26, 2016, Johnson kicked and punched Joshua Wilson multiple times, injuring his jaw.
Caleb A. Crenshaw, 23, of Bradford, will serve five to 23 ½ months in state prison and 12 months of probation for charges of escape and theft by unlawful taking; also, he will serve an additional eight to 16 months in state prison for a probation revocation in a previous simple assault case. He has 85 days of credit for time served. Crenshaw pleaded guilty Dec. 22, 2016, to allegations that on Oct. 20, 2016, while an inmate at McKean County Jail, he left the Good Growing Gardens barn, where he was doing community service; also, he stole from someone Bic pens and batteries valued at $5
Andrew M. Berg, 28, of Bradford, will serve one to five years in state prison for charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
Stephanie Tyler, 18, of Bradford, will serve three to 12 months in McKean County Jail with credit for 107 days of time served for a charge of aggravated assault. She pleaded guilty Dec. 29, 2016, to allegations that on Sept. 28, 2016, while a patient in the psychiatric unit of Bradford Regional Medical Center, Tyler tried to leave her room and go to an area she was restricted from entering; a nurse who came to stop her grabbed her arm, and Tyler tried to strike the nurse, then pulled her hair and choked her.
Jason R. Rulander, 22, of Bradford, pleaded guilty in one case and was sentenced in another. He will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and a summary charge. Also, he pleaded guilty in the second case to charges of defiant trespassing, recklessly endangering another person and a summary charge. In the newer case, on Sept. 17, 2016, Rulander, who was under the influence of alcohol, entered a Sanford Street, Bradford, apartment, where he stayed even after the owners told him to leave; he placed the owners and himself in danger because they felt compelled to retrieve a gun to remove him, according to Barrett. Rulander will be sentenced Feb. 9.
Tristan L. Mackey, 31, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges in two separate cases. She’s charged in one case with possession of drug paraphernalia and in the second with driving under the influence of clonazepam and summary charges. She will be sentenced March 2.
Sandra D. Quino, 44, of Bradford, will serve 12 months of probation for a charge of forgery.
Tessa R. Fair, 25, of Bradford, will serve 12 months of probation for charges of recklessly endangering another person and unsworn falsification to authorities.
Nicolas A. Owens, 27, of Bradford, will serve six months of probation for a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and a summary charge.
