BROCKWAY — Tri-County Rails to Trails will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Chatterbox restaurant off U.S. Route 219, south of Brockway.
The groups maintain trails in Elk, Jefferson and Clearfield counties. Nick Hoffman, community initiatives coordinator for Varischetti Holdings in Brockway, will give a presentation about the possibility of connecting the group’s trails to other trails, creating a 1,400-mile Industrial Heartland Rail-to-Trail that will include Cleveland and Akron, Ohio; Parkersburg and Morgantown, W.Va.; Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg; and Chautauqua County, N.Y.
