MOUNT JEWETT — A demonstration on snowshoe basics will be done at the Kinzua Bridge State Park from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Park officials will supply a brief history and a how-to demo. A limited number of snowshoes for using are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so you must call to register. Please call the park office to ensure there are adequate snow conditions. There must be at least 5 inches of snow to snowshoe. The park office number is (814) 778-5467.
