SMETHPORT — A Bradford man was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court for a Megan’s Law violation.
Donald E. Saltsgiver, 46, will serve 18 months to three years in state prison with credit for 136 days of time served for a charge of failure to verify address/be photographed. He pleaded guilty Dec. 8 to allegations that on July 21, he moved out of the Hotel Holley in Bradford and failed to register his new residence.
Also in court, Alexander R. Parker, 31, of Bradford, will serve seven to 23 ½ months in McKean County Jail with credit for 91 days of time served for charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility. On Sept. 29, Parker conspired with a 17-year-old to deliver less than two grams of crack cocaine, according to allegations he pleaded guilty to on Dec. 8.
Stephanie M. Tyler, 18, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated assault. She will be sentenced Jan. 12. Her attorney, Dennis Luttenauer, explained that on Sept. 28, while a patient in the psychiatric unit of Bradford Regional Medical Center, Tyler tried to leave her room and go to an area she was restricted from entering; a nurse who came to stop her grabbed her arm, and Tyler tried to strike the nurse, then pulled her hair and choked her.
Robert S. Leonard, 24, of Kane, will serve seven days to 18 months in McKean County Jail and pay restitution of $2,600 for a charge of theft by unlawful taking. Court records filed at the time he was first arrested indicated that he stole $2,600 from the Subway restaurant in Kane over a period of months while he was employed there.
Shawn M. Mott, 25, of Bradford, withdrew a guilty plea entered into in October to charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. According to Mott’s attorney, Robert Kinnear, Mott said he is innocent.
Lisa M. McCartney, 39, of Bradford will serve five years in the Intermediate Punishment Program for a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and summary charges.
David V. Quick, 39, of Bradford, will serve five years in the Intermediate Punishment Program for a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and a summary charge.
David M. Schneider, 52, of Eldred, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program and one year of probation for charges of fraud-altered/forged/counterfeit documents and plates, driving under the influence of alcohol and summary charges.
Yalonda M. Hauber, 32, of Brookville, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and summary charges.
Angela K. Reel, 32, of Duquesne, will serve one year of probation for a charge of engaging in the practice of pharmacy when not licensed as a pharmacist.
Michael T. Blum, 32, of Erie, will serve one year of probation for a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and summary charges.
Michael R. Cooper, 20, of Rixford, was accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
