Water was expected to be restored to about a dozen homes around midnight Thursday after a 6-inch water line broke along Welch Avenue in Bradford on Wednesday night, according to authority executive director Steve Disney.
The call about the incident came in around 7 p.m., and Bradford City Water Authority crew members were just starting to dig around 9 p.m. near Togi’s Restaurant at East Main Street and Welch Avenue.
About a dozen homes were temporarily without water as of around 9 p.m., Disney said. A boil water advisory is not being implemented, he said.
