RIDGWAY — A Johnsonburg man is in Elk County Jail in Ridgway on allegations he assaulted a man with a 28-inch wooden club.
Ridgway-based state police said at 11 a.m. Wednesday at 2129 Wilcox Road, Jones Township, Harry “Skipper” Dilley, 48, of Johnsonburg, assaulted Christopher M. Meyer, 34, of Ridgway, with a club, injuring Meyer’s right leg.
The Wilcox Volunteer Fire Department transported Meyer to Penn Highlands Elk in St. Marys for medical treatment, police said.
Dilley is charged with aggravated assault, a second-degree felony; simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; and harassment, a summary charge, court records stated.
Dilley is incarcerated in lieu of $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 4.
