Theft charges against an Allegany, N.Y., man were withdrawn by the prosecution on Wednesday.
David C. Ickes, 73, was charged in July with two counts of theft by unlawful taking, a felony and a misdemeanor, court records stated. Ickes was scheduled to appear for a preliminary Wednesday in the office of Magisterial District Judge Richard Luther, where the charges were withdrawn.
