Bradford area motorists are paying an average of $2.344 a gallon for unleaded, self-serve gasoline this week, according to the American Automobile Association Fuel Gauge Report.
Elsewhere across the region, the average price for gas stands at $2.422 a gallon, up a nickel from last week, AAA officials said. Nationwide, the average price for gas is $2.21 a gallon, up three cents from last week and two cents per gallon on the month. AAA officials said the national average has increased for 14 days in a row following the OPEC oil production agreement on Nov. 30. The national average is up 20 cents compared to the same date last year.
