The local recording artists on the newly-released album, “Christmas Wonder,” will offer three live performances this weekend.
At 7 p.m. Saturday, the group will perform at the Kane Memorial Chapel, 30 Chestnut St., in Kane. Then on Sunday, they will do two performances — one at 3 p.m. and another at 7 p.m. — at Holy Rosary Church, 210 Bridge St. in Johnsonburg.
A love offering will be taken at each concert, and copies of the Christmas Wonder CD will be available for purchase.
The concerts will feature many of the songs from the album, which was recorded by local talent at Remember to Breathe Studio in DuBois.
The Kane concert will showcase Bailey Pretak of Wilcox (piano and vocal), Tracie Pretak of Wilcox (piano and vocal), Brianna Blankenship of Kane (vocal), Ross Bish of Ridgway (vocal), Lyndsey Weidow of St. Marys (vocal), Tony Hanes of Kersey (vocal), Kylie Geci of Duke Center (vocal) and J.J. Bungo of Clearfield (flute and vocal). They will also perform a few group numbers, under the direction of Ross Bish, and a duet of “The Prayer” by Geci and Hanes.
The Johnsonburg concerts will include all of the above performers, as well as Sami Ferragine Yurkewicz of Leola (vocal), Haley Freeburg of Ridgway (vocal), and Nicole Rose of Johnsonburg (vocal).
