A Bradford teen will face a preliminary hearing next week for allegedly forcing a 14-year-old girl to have sexual intercourse.
Codi Lee Michael Veite, 18, of 174 Elm St., lower apartment, is charged with sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault, both second-degree felonies; corruption of minors, a third-degree felony; and indecent assault without consent, a second-degree misdemeanor.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Dom Cercone.
Court records said at 2:30 a.m. Nov. 25, while Veite was at a residence on Avenue B, he had sex with a 14-year-old girl after she had told him no and tried to push him away several times. He told police he felt she was not OK with it and stopped after a few minutes, court records read.
Veite is in jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
