SMETHPORT — A Bradford man who is a registrant under Megan’s Law pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court to allegations he failed to register his new address.
Donald E. Saltsgiver, 46, pleaded guilty to a charge of failure to verify address or be photographed. Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade said that on July 21, Saltsgiver moved out of the Hotel Holley in Bradford and failed to register his new residence with authorities. He will be sentenced Dec. 29.
Also in court, Alexander R. Parker, 31, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility and conspiracy to possess with the intent to deliver a controlled substance. On Sept. 29, Parker conspired with a 17-year-old male to deliver less than two grams of crack cocaine, and he used a phone to organize the delivery, said District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer. He will be sentenced Dec. 29.
Amber M. McKinney, 35, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to one count of possession with the intent to deliver to a controlled substance. According to Shaffer, on May 3, McKinney delivered two Suboxone strips. She will be sentenced Dec. 15.
Charles M. Johnson Jr., 19, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. Assistant District Attorney Sean Barrett said that on June 26, Johnson struck a male several times, injuring his jaw. He will be sentenced Dec. 29.
Angela K. Reel, 32, of Duquesne, pleaded guilty to a charge of engaging in the practice of pharmacy when not licensed as a pharmacist. On July 30, 2014, Reel sold lisdexamfetamine, a drug used to treat disorders such as ADHD and binge eating disorder, Shaffer said. She will be sentenced Dec. 29.
Kayhl J. Nearing, 19, of Kane, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He will serve nine months of probation.
Michael T. Blum, 32, of Erie, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and summary charges. He will be sentenced Dec. 29.
The following people were accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program:
Eric C. Charette, 26, of West Seneca, N.Y., for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of a controlled substance; Katelyn L. Brown, 25, of Eldred, and Parker M. Gorrell, 24, of Rew, both for DUI alcohol and a controlled substance; Steven S. Hardway Jr., 24, of Eldred, for DUI alcohol; Shawn C. Mawn, 41, of Eldred, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; Angel L. Powell, 33, of Valencia, for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; and Leah M. Newhouse, 19, of Bradford, and Joshua B. Morris, 19, of Derrick City, both for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Michael J. French, 45, of Eldred, pleaded guilty to a summary charge of harassment. He will serve three months of probation.
