SMETHPORT — A Kane man received a split verdict in a jury trial Monday in McKean County Court, being convicted on one charge and acquitted on three others.
Robert Duck Jr., 38, was convicted of one count of simple assault and acquitted on three other charges — simple assault, disorderly conduct and terroristic threats.
The alleged incident took place in July in Kane Borough. No further details regarding the incident were immediately available.
Sentencing is set for Jan. 6 before Judge William Morgan.
Prosecuting the case was Assistant District Attorney Sean Barrett; defense counsel was Dennis Luttenauer; and Morgan, a senior visiting judge from Warren/Forest counties court, heard the case.
