Bradford Regional Medical Center will play host to a series of health workshops this month.
The American Cancer Society’s Look Good Feel Better Workshop will be held at 4 p.m. today at the BRMC oncology library.
The workshop is free and facilitated by trained cosmetologists who teach women with cancer how to understand and care for changes in skin and hair that may occur during treatment. The program is offered in partnership with the National Cosmotology Association and The Personal Care Products Council Foundation.
Pre-registration is required. For more information or to register contact 800-227-2345
Meanwhile, a diabetes self-management program will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the hospital’s diabetes and nutrition office.
Organizers said each class covers different diabetes-related topics. A physician’s referral is required to attend. Many insurances cover the classes. Call 362-8717 for more information.
Finally, a sleep disorder support group will be held at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 14 in Suite 33 of the hospital’s Outpatient Services Center.
