OLEAN, N.Y. — Olean Theatre Workshop will hold auditions for “The Odd Couple” at 7 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Washington Street Theatre.

“The Odd Couple,” by Neil Simon, includes six men and two women, all roles open. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. “The Odd Couple” will be presented on Feb. 9, 10, 11 and 12.

Directed by Katie Ralston, the classic comedy opens as a group of the guys are assembled for a card game at the apartment of the divorced Oscar Madison. Late to arrive is Felix Unger, recently separated from his wife. Fastidious, depressed and rather high-strung, Felix seems suicidal. As the action unfolds, Oscar becomes the one with murder on his mind when the clean-freak and the ultimate slob decide to room together with hilarious results.

The theater is located at 702 Washington St., Olean.
