A Bradford woman was jailed Saturday on drug delivery allegations after a traffic stop in Bradford City.
Bradford City Police reported that Misty Mihalko, 31, was stopped for a traffic violation on Bushnell Street.
“After talking with Ms. Mihalko, the investigating officer believed she was under the influence of controlled substance(s),” police stated. “She was given some field sobriety tests and was subsequently taken into custody for the suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.”
Police searched Mihalko’s purse and vehicle — with help from a K-9 from the McKean County Drug Task Force — and discovered “31 pills that appeared to be packaged for delivery and various drug related items,” police stated. Police did not specify what kind of pills or drug-related items she allegedly had.
Mihalko is charged with two counts of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, both felonies; two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, all misdemeanors; and turning movements and required signals and allowing illegal use of a plate/card, summary charges, court records stated.
She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Richard Luther and committed to McKean County Jail in Smethport in lieu of $100,000 bail. She is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
