Graham Florist will be the target of a Cash Mob from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Cash Mobs originated five years ago patterned after the concept of a Flash Mob, an event fueled by social media to entertain crowds. The Cash Mob spinoff is designed to support local businesses and provides a social opportunity for those shopping with friends. Locally, Cash Mobs are organized by the Bradford Chamber of Commerce each month. The targets are traditionally kept a secret until the day of the event to elevate the surprise element of the event. This month, the target has been announced in advance to aid shoppers in their holiday shopping plans.
Chamber of Commerce officials said Graham Florist will offer a wide selection of items under $20 during the event. The shop will feature holiday home décor, tree ornaments, specialty holiday lights, wreaths and ribbon by the yard.
Graham Florist and Graham’s Greenhouse celebrated 125 years in business this year.
Patrons attending the Cash Mob will receive their final stamp on their Mobster card which can be entered in a drawing at the Chamber of Commerce office. Those attending can meet at the Chamber office at 10 a.m. or stop in at Graham Florist throughout the day.
