Today is the first of four drop-off opportunities this week for people buying Christmas gifts for The Era’s Less Fortunate (ELF) Fund.
Anyone who took an ELF tag from a local business or organization may drop off gifts from noon to 6 p.m. today at 1020 E. Main St., Suite 4, in Foster Brook, right next to the Hong Kong Buffet.
Other drop-off days will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Gift-buyers are asked to have their gift to the distribution center by noon on Saturday, as ELF Fund volunteers will begin shopping that afternoon for recipients who did not have a gift brought in during the drop-off days.
Gift distribution will take place Dec. 9 at the same location, which was donated temporarily to the ELF Fund by John Kohler.
