Kane-based state police said Edward Thomas Montoro, 85, died around 3:56 p.m. Monday.
State police responded to the above location for a report of a deceased male. Upon arrival, members of the Eldred Volunteer Fire Department and Priority Care EMS were on scene and the identity of the male was confirmed to be Montoro. Upon further investigation, it was determined Montoro had died of natural causes, police said.
